By applying the Four Pillars model, created by Stephen Pidgeon, Julia will lead your through the steps to creating an emotive and powerful ‘fundraising proposition’ that can be used in a variety of settings including proposals, in an elevator pitch and on your website.
A ‘fundraising proposition’ or case for support for a corporate will look very different to the kind of case for support a trust fundraiser would create for grant applications. The corporate case for support is a short, inspiring, emotive statement that allows the business to understand what you do and why you do it, it sounds really simple, it can be incredibly challenging.
Our first step will be to find the thread that links your activities together, then we will work through each of the stages of the four pillars and finally I will introduce the principal of AIDA to your writing. The combination of the above methods has been tried and tested by Julia with many small and medium sized charities. The blend of these approaches will make your case for support compelling and inspiring.
